Benuk Homestay provides an opportunity to experience the traditional lifestyle of farmers in a natural setting. Located at Jalan Borneo Height in Kuching, Sarawak, the homestay offers guests a glimpse into local culture, most notably through visits to a traditional longhouse. A unique feature of this cultural immersion is the tour of the “Panggah,” a structure where skulls from a bygone era are kept, reflecting the area’s rich history.
Visitors can engage in various activities depending on the package they choose. These activities range from farm tours of pepper, coffee, dabai, jackfruit, and durian gardens to more adventurous pursuits like bathing in a stream and crossing a bamboo bridge. For an additional cost, guests can also opt for hiking trips. The homestay is registered with Tourism Malaysia and its offerings are valid until the end of 2026.
