Kampung Sungai Setar is a village located in Jeniang, within the state of Kedah Darul Aman. Kedah is a state in the northern part of Malaysia, bordering Thailand to the northeast, the state of Perak to the southeast, Penang to the southwest, and Perlis to the north.
Kedah is well-known as an agriculturally advanced state in Malaysia, especially as the largest producer of rice, responsible for 70% of the country’s rice output in 2017. One of its special traditional foods is Laksa Kedah.
